August’s Share The Plate Recipient: Shepherd’s Way

Shepherd’s Way is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization based in Manchester, New Hampshire. We seek to help one of the most vulnerable populations in our society – the unhoused homeless – people who live outdoors in the elements trying to survive. Our mission follows the Book of Matthew 25: 35-36. “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink…” Through kindness and compassion we let our homeless brothers and sisters know that they are not alone, that they are loved and have value and purpose as human beings.

A Welcoming Community

The UUCM welcomes all races, ages, abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities and presentations, family constellations, and faith backgrounds. No matter who you are or where you’re from, you’re welcome here!

Our Seven Principles

The UUCM follows the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Seven Principles. To learn more about our Seven Principles, head over to Our Beliefs page or to the UUA website.

Social Responsibility

Our SR Committee works with the greater Manchester community to provide clean socks and toiletries to under-resourced folks, participate in local action, educate the community on voter rights, and much more.
